ironSource announces SuperXmas, a campaign with great cash prizes, encouraging game developers to publish their hyper-casual games during the holiday season. The campaign will launch on November 1st and end on December 24th, 2021.

Table of Contents

As part of the campaign, any game published before December 25th (Christmas) will receive a $50,000 cash prize.

Also, every developer who meets the campaign’s criteria will receive a profit share during the game’s lifetime (not as a minimum guarantee). As ironSource stated, profitable games could continue to generate a lot more revenue in the future.

Nadav Ashkenazy, SVP Publishing Solutions at ironSource, stated that the holiday season is a fantastic time to publish a hyper-casual game. Therefore, the company decided to launch a SuperXmas campaign to motivate developers to create a holiday hit game.

SuperXmas Campaign

Besides the main prize, ironSource set up prizes for referrals and games that attain low CPI-s. Referrals of hyper-casual games published before Christmas can expect to receive a reward of $25,000 each.

The low CPI prizes are quite generous too.

Games that reach a CPI below $0.20 will receive $15,000. Those games that have CPI lower than $0.25 receive a prize of $5,000. And, the games that achieve a CPI lower than $0.35 will receive an award of $3,000.

The criteria for the $50,000 prize is that the game needs to be published between November 1st and December 24th, not be published somewhere else before the campaign, and it has to be a hyper-casual game.

Additionally, the game has to be published via Supersonic, ironSource’s mobile game publishing solution. Naturally, the game published in the campaign has to follow all terms and conditions set by Supersonic.
